STUDENT WORK

This page will feature some of the journaling work done by the students of educators participating in the project.

The first set of sketches come from Paige Lloyd's 5th grade class at Fredericksburg City Schools.  I'm happy Paige submitted these drawings since it gives us some great examples of student Nature Journaling sketches.  Please take a look and enjoy.

More great examples of student journaling from Amtulnoor Grosser's 5th grade class at Garrisonville Elementary in Stafford County.  There are some really good examples of student's questions included in these samples.

Here are some nature journaling examples from Patty Rosnick's 2nd grade class at Fredericksburg Academy.  Impressive sketches for second graders - especially the Heavenly Bamboo.  You can see some of differences students notice in overall plant shape.

Lisa Lewis Fredericksburg City Schools student's nature journaling, including several examples of city journaling.  This shows that you don't have to be in the middle of the woods to do good nature journaling.

Brittany Austin's Fredericksburg Academy class has some great, colorful bird sketches and observations.
